What we collect
We collect personal information you choose to give us, limited technical data needed to run the site securely and, only if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site.

We do not ask for special category data, and you should not send it to us through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

How demonstration enquiries are handled
When you submit the form, the details are emailed to our company mailbox so we can reply. We use them to arrange and prepare the demonstration — for example, tailoring it to the area of interest you selected.
Sales follow-up. We will reply to your enquiry and may follow up about that specific enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list unless you ticked the optional marketing box. Ticking it is never a condition of getting a demonstration.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We use the following providers, who process data on our instructions:

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
International transfers
Our website, live demo and mailbox are hosted on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards offered by the provider, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not proceed: 12 months from our last contact.
- Enquiries that become customers: for the life of the relationship and then as required for accounting and legal purposes.
- Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent, plus a short period to evidence the withdrawal.
- Server and security logs: as retained by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes.
- Analytics: up to 14 months in Google Analytics. Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days, and heatmaps and saved recordings for up to 13 months.
Cookies and analytics
We use analytics only if you agree. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you reject them, or don't answer, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not loaded at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics measures which pages are visited and how people find the site, and Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see what works and what doesn't. What you type into forms is never recorded. We don't use these tools for advertising, and we have turned off their advertising features.

You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, which is also at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies on our site. The live demo at demo.kinleong.co.uk uses only strictly necessary session cookies, which keep your demo signed in and secure and expire when you close your browser. It doesn't use analytics.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used — which is the purpose of this notice;
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete information, in some circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, in some circumstances;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
- ask us to transfer information to another provider, in some circumstances; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these, email info@kinleong.co.uk. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.
To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or email us — it will not affect our response to an enquiry.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use personal information we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
